Mysteries of Christmas in Japan

Why dose the Japanese people eat KFC on Christmas?
There are some mysterious customs in Japan, and this is one of them.
In fact, on Christmas, KFC makes a line everywhere.

Why?
The answer is because the Japanese people does not know the turkey. The turkey is very minor bird in Japan. And they don't almost know the meaning of Christmas too.

Anyways, If it's happy atmosphere, it is all OK! That's a Japanese style.

Christmas is coming.

It is Christmas this weekend at last
The present which a son wanted was a stuffed toy of the owls which appear on Pokemon Sun and Moon. He is cute, isn't it?

Of course we already got it.

A movie called ”Don't breathe” has been released from today in Japan.
I was looking forward this movie. Please check a this trailer.

Scary, isn't it? This scare is like an OUTLAST of the game. hehe.
I couldn't play that game because too scary. But I guess to be able to enjoy this movie if I only watch.

Maybe I'm going to watch to the movie with my wife.

Welcome the casino

A casino bill was passed in Japan last night. It means that the large casino with the accommodations is made in Japan in the future.
There is the party objecting to this bill, but I'm agreeable. Because it is very better than a Pachinko.

I really hate Pachinko. Pachinko is an dirty dirty business in Japan.
 In addition, their gambling fund are becoming the source of funds of the agents in a Yakuza and the Korean Peninsula.

I believe that pachinko should extermination from my country.
And I hope that this bill will be the first step.

Our hamburger steak

I made a hamburger steak last night for a family.
The result was very very well.

The secret of delicious is a raw onion and a hidden flavor of miso put in the minced meat. then, A grated radish and citrus seasoned soy sauce pour on the grilled hamburger steak. This is the best!

Though it is very easy, it is very delicious.

At the barber

I had my hair cut in the barber shop today.
That price is only 1,080 yen. Because it is only a cut, it is very cheap.
I'm so refreshed and feeling good.

However, about the price for a haircut, I discovered that it is almost about the same in the world. Did you know that?

Alcohol tolerance

There was the wedding ceremony my sister yesterday.
I was tired very much because I was too drunk.
In my case, I feel bad as soon as I drink it. I think that a lot of Japanese people are not very good with alcohol.

Bento

My son take a lunch box into a kindergarten on every Thursday.
So, I'll make a bento every week.

This bento consists of a humburg steak, octopus shaped sausage, nikujaga, simmered Japanese pumpkin and rice.
it seems like a lunch for enployee in the company because I don't have cute sense. hehe.
But, I don't using any frozen food. it is great, right?

umm...I wonder what should I cook for bento next week.

Local exploration

My recent boom is to visita a local Ramen House.
Japan is a ramen mecca anywhere. there are various shops from orthodox ramen to Jiro inspired ramen.

This is Jiro inspired ramen.
Anyway, there is much quantity!
And after eating, people usually have diarrhea. It's delicious, though.

Live Another Day came in Prime Video!

What a glad news! I'm able to watch Live Another Day in Prime Video!
TWENTY FOUR series is my favorite overseas drama.
I have never seen any wonderful drama than TWENTY FOUR.

However, I haven't yet seen Live Another Day.
but, at last the opportunity came today!
I'm looking forward to seeing Jack again.

The enhancement of Prime Video is remarkable these days.

Nonsense Japanese-English

Oh my, I just noticed!
The "Bucket" of KFC was the meaning of "Baketsu" in Japanese.

This is a terrible points of the Japanese-English.
Japanese-English will change pronunciation altogether.
A Bucket and a Baketsu, Why do we make strange pronunciation?

Even a Japanese can pronounce BUCKET!
I think that the reason why Japanese are not good at English is made by Japanese unnecessary sense.
A Bucket is a Bucket, That's right.

The country which I want to go first

I have the experience that taken an airplane only once. A short flight to Okinawa, though.
Therefore,　I have never been overseas.

But, of course I'm interested.
Among them I Especially want to go to Las Vegas and Disney World in America.
About entertainment and a show, America has outstanding ability in the world.
I think that Americans are good at having fun.
It is a wonderful talent.

December came!

Oh, from Yesterday is December! I just noticed now.
It is already the last month of this year. I can't believe how fast time goes by.

By the way, It seems that the big update of PokemonGO is scheduled for December.
Is the next Pokemon gold and silver?　The way to my complete seems to become more farther. hehe.

December is the season when it is the most brilliant in one year, like a finale.

Nintendoland

What a delightful news! Nintendo announced that they make amusement park which character such as Mario appears.
I really have waited for this news!

The above Mario, Yoshi, Kirby, Zelda, Metroid, others, Nintendo has many famous intellectual property.
There is no doubt that these will be content comparable to Disney.
I can't wait to meet them!

These places are made in Universal Studios in Japan and the USA.Harry Potter and Nintendo, Universal Studio is really cool.

Price of Japan

Is the price of Japan high? Answer is, not really.
the price of Japan is unexpected cheaper than you are thinking.
because deflation has been continued in Japan. And then, we don't need tip too.

But the only exception is a pizza.
For example, In Japan, the L size of the Domino's Pizza costs about 35 dollar.
In America, the same pizza is cheaper at least by 20 dollars.

Shopping in Japan is very comfortable, but I don't recommend just a pizza.

The Romance of Three Kingdoms

A lot of Japanese likes Sangokushi, or The Romance of Three Kingdoms.
The market is filled with the contents of Sangokushi.
But, the person who is not interested is not really interested, like me.

Aside from Official history written by Chin Ju, almost contents is fiction and entertainment. Not real.
So I don't like Sangokushi compared to Japanese Warring States Period.

In addition, their name is so much difficult, right?
Having said that, Japanese name is so, too. hehe.

An awsome song was introduced to the English teaching materials of NHK.
It is "Autumn Leaves", Nat King Cole's song.

It is little sad and, in jazzy, is really good.
Moreover, Covering this song by Paula Cole is also wonderful too.
Personally, I like this one.

Snowing!

It is snowing!
I'm surprised that ｔhis year's snowfall is earlier than an average year and Snow cover in November is the first in happening in the Tokyo.
Today is very cold...!

However, people who went to a hot spring on such a day might be lucky because that person can enjoy the autumn leaves and Yukimi-buro (bathing while enjoying a snow scene) together.
That is one of the best luxury of winter.
Eating an ice cream with the Kotatsu, or more. hehe.

In browser, Chrome usage rate is highest. To be exact 60%.
On the other hand, Internet Explorer is only 1%.
Is that so few? I'm really unexpected.

Lucky card

I read an interesting news that one trading card of Pokemon Card Game sold for 6 million dollar.
Wow, the trading card freak is crazy and rich. hehe.

But, Pokemon Card Game in itself is very fun.
I knew it since my son was born.
This games rule is well-done.

I sometimes buy Pokemon Card for son because he likes illustration of the card.
As for son, the rule is still difficult, so we don't play together for now.
Of course, I'll play if there is an opportunity.

My daily misson

My fault is that I don't stick to things.
Not to mention for English. My motivation dose not continue often.

But. "Little and often fills the purse."
More important than any thing is continuation.

If I went to America, I want to take my family there.
At least, son will enjoy it.

My son's years old 6.

he especially likes Storm Trooper.

The fist barrier

I hated English from high school days.
First, I couldn't read a word.
And, of course, I couldn't write.
In short, I couldn't understand everything.

Then, I especially disliked the name of the month.

In Japan's case, 1 gathu, 2 gathu, 3 gathu..., just increase the number. Easy.
But English's case, January, February, March... what hell! There is not a united feeling!
Moreover, September, October, November, December... as for the latter half, a word is long!

Actually, I cannot yet write it.

My son age is 6 years old.

He likes a ghost, mysterious monster, and UFO.
However, he has a something one dislike.

It's just a theme song of X-file's.

He hates this BGM.
When this BGM starts, he cried in one phrase.

Pokemon GO

I and my wife are usually playing Pokemon GO because my son loves it.
From the time the application is started, I began to play.

But it is difficult to collect Pokemon.
My Pokemon is still 80 or less.

News of the American presidential election has been reported in Japan recently.
Hillary, or Trump? But I don't like both.

because I prefer Republican Party to Democratic Party.
Also Trump should be the president, of the company. not a country.

Too delicious

I small worries that I gained weight since a few years ago.
But I know this reason...

It's because I quit smoking.

I'm going to set the Kotatsu at the this weekend.

Many Japanese people love Kotatsu.
Also Kotatsu is furniture that symbolizes the winter of Japan.

When I was high school student, I hated English.

Today my lunch was Yoshinoya.
These shop is selling a beef bowl.
Yoshinoya is in the Los Angeles too.

I love beef bowl of Yoshinoya.

It is cheap food, but It is my favorite flavor.
When I was small, It's taste of memories that ate with my father.

Well, ｔoday is special Friday that mobile operator's SoftBank provides.
The coupon that a beef bowl becomes free is distributed to a user of Softbank. Wow!
And I'm glad I'm using Softbank, I thought for the first time.

To elementary school

Today, I went to the elementary school, for my son's admission preparation.
Elementary school in Japan, is from 7 to 12 years.

They were very bigger than kindergarten child.

Children are growing so fast.
